The north is the land of neurosis; Mexico is the land of fury —in the north murderers let pearls of arsenic fall in the cups of coffee of their victims, while in the south (and the widow of Leo Trotsky bears witness of this) the preferred method is an ice pick driven into the skull, or fifty stabs in the heart of the adulteress.
